Dr. Ida Bergstrom is a native Washingtonian, but also spent a great deal of time all over the world as a Foreign Service Officer dependent. She attended Georgetown Visitation, Denison University, and the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.
Dr. Bergstrom completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. She then did a primary care fellowship while concurrently completing her MBA at Georgetown University.
Dr. Bergstrom practices General Internal Medicine, with a special interest in Travel Medicine, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She lives in the District of Columbia with her husband and two children. She spends her free time traveling, running and skiing.
